However, within CVRD systems, this dataset is maintained as a representation of modeled flood inundation (water extent), separate from regulatory development boundaries.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>Users should be aware that the flood extents represent a modeled scenario and may not reflect all local conditions or future changes. Flood levels may vary spatially and temporally, and peak water levels may not occur simultaneously across the entire mapped area.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>For regulatory development constraints, refer to the Building_DesignatedFloodplains dataset, which incorporates bylaw-based hazard areas including coastal setbacks and additional planning considerations.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
